Hundreds visit paddlefest event
Hundreds of fans crowded the paddle edges of the plate Saturday as the Nimbus Paddlefest 18th returned to Lake Natoma.
Keith Miller and Tammy Borichevsky, co-owner of California Canoe & Kayak, a company paddlesport founded in 1972 in Oakland, hosted the jubilee events.

Chris McCandless, his wife Lisa and their two son Ben, 9, and Judah, 7, participated in the Kid Zone and Paddlefest part of the celebration of Judah seven years. McCandless said his family wanted to take advantage of opportunities to do all sorts of things on the water.
"We paddleboarded, kayak and tried a couple of sea kayaks, so that was awesome," said McCandless.
